SC-194-90: Wool national Dimensions: 57” x 68” Fringe

Description:

This 48-star wool national flag has embroidered stars arranged in six rows of eight.  A gold-colored fringe is attached to the top, bottom, and fly edge.  The hoist end was fashioned into a sleeve for attachment to the staff.

The staff, which measures 88” by 1.25”, is topped by a spade-shaped finial.  A rounded cap is attached to the bottom of the staff.

The flag has a 120” red, white, and blue twisted cord with two red, white, and blue tassels measuring 2” in diameter.

SC-195-90: Silk national Dimensions: 54.5” x 70” Fringe

Description:

This 48-star silk national flag has embroidered stars arranged in six rows of eight.  There is a small area of fading in the canton where the flag was exposed to light in the Capitol cases.  A gold-colored fringe is attached to the top, bottom, and fly edge.  The hoist end was fashioned into a sleeve for attachment to the staff.

The staff, which measures 88.25” by 1.25”, is topped by a spade-shaped finial.  A rounded cap is attached to the bottom of the staff.

The flag has a 128” red, white, and blue twisted cord with two red, white, and blue tassels measuring 1.5” in diameter.

SC-206-90: Silk regimental Dimensions: 54.5” x 67.5” Fringe

Description:

This regimental flag is made of a red piece of silk embroidered with the coat of arms of the United States.  Below the coat of arms is a castle and below that is a ribbon bearing the regimental designation.  It reads “310TH U.S. ENGINEERS”.  A fringe is attached to the top, bottom, and fly edge of the flag.  The hoist end was fashioned into a sleeve for attachment to the staff.

The staff, which measures 88” by 1.25”, is topped by a spade-shaped finial.  A rounded cap is attached to the bottom of the staff.  Two metal rings listing battle honors are attached to the staff.  They read “ST. MIHIEL OFFENSIVE, FRANCE. Sept. 12, to 16, 1918.” “MEUSE-ARGONNE OFFENSIVE, FRANCE Sept. 26, to Nov. 11, 1918.”.

The flag has a 105” red, and white twisted cord with two red and white tassels measuring 1.5” in diameter.  There is also a red ribbon listing battle honors.  It reads “ST. MIHIEL Offensive, France SEPT. 12-SEPT. 16, 1918” “MEUSE-ARGONNE Offensive, France SEPT. 26-NOV. 11, 1918”.

Description:

This 48-star wool national flag has embroidered stars arranged in six rows of eight.  A gold-colored fringe is attached to the top, bottom, and fly edge.  The hoist end was fashioned into a sleeve for attachment to the staff.

The staff, which measures 89” by 1.5”, is topped by a spade-shaped finial.  A rounded cap is attached to the bottom of the staff.  A metal ring reading “NORTH RUSSIA 1918-1919” is attached to the staff.

No tassels or cords remain.
