SC-213-90: Silk national ▪ Dimensions: 53.5” x 72.5” ▪ Fringe
Description:
This 48-star silk national flag has embroidered stars arranged in six rows of eight. There is some damage to the white stripes along the fly edge. A gold-colored fringe is attached to the top, bottom, and fly edge. The hoist end was fashioned into a sleeve for attachment to the staff.
The staff, which measures 95” by 1.5”, is topped by an eagle finial.
The flag has a 120” red, white, and blue twisted cord with two red, white, and blue tassels measuring 1.75” in diameter. There is also a rainbow-colored ribbon listing battle honors. It read “OISE, AINSE-MARNE, LYS, DEVENSIVE SECTOR”.
