The National Cemetery in Beaufort, SC

Wednesday, December 11, 2024, Save The Flags was in Beaufort, South Carolina at the national cemetery where hundreds of soldiers who fought with the United States Colored Troops are buried, including men who fought with the First Michigan/102nd U.S.C.T.

Portraying the color bearer with the replica flag of the regiment, is our dear friend and longtime supporter of Save The Flags—Mr. Maurice Imhoff.

Our thanks to the fine staff at the cemetery for their great assistance and to Kimberly Benson for her beautiful flag artwork.
