Description:

This wool flag is made of two pieces of navy colored wool sewn together.  It has five cotton applique stars sewn in two rows with three stars on the hoist side and two on the fly side.  In the center of each star is the number “1”.  Stars are sewn on the reverse side in the same way.  The hoist edge was fashioned into a sleeve for attachment to the staff.

The staff, which measures 64.5” by 2”, is lacking a finial, but has a flange where a finial would have attached.
