Description:

This designating flag has a field made of navy blue linen.  A large black wool shield with painted edge is in the center of the flag.  Two additional black shields with painted edges are on the top and bottom of the field near the hoist edge.  There is loss along the top and bottom of the flag near the fly edge.  The hoist edge was fashioned into a pole sleeve for attachment to the staff.

The staff, which measures 98.25” by 1”, is missing a final but has a flange where a finial would have attached.
